Town Attorney Recipient of S.C. Bar 2012 Pro Bono Award
Town of Lexington Attorney, Bradford "Brad" T. Cunningham, received the S.C. Bar Pro Bono Award at the Annual Bar Foundation Gala on January 21, held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.
The S.C. Bar Pro Bono Award is presented annually to a lawyer(s) who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to volunteer legal services for the poor and disadvantaged. These services ensure that representation is provided to individuals and families in need of free civil legal assistance.

He also accepts pro bono cases on a walk-in basis, drafting wills and powers of attorney and handling real estate and probate issues. Mr. Cunningham is also very active in the community, lending his time and talents to the S.C. Municipal Attorneys Association, International Municipal Attorneys Association, USC Alumni Association, Lexington Youth Football League and Kiwanis Club. He also broadcasts Lexington High School sports on 107.9 WLXM.
In addition to the award, Mr. Cunningham received $500, which he presented to the Police Department's Adopt-A-Cop Program during the February Council meeting. Mayor Randy Halfacre also presented Mr. Cunningham a proclamation recognizing him for his outstanding service as an employee and to the Lexington Community.
