Town of Lexington and the Community Open Land Trust will receive sealed proposals from General Contractors for the design and construction
of the 14 Mile Creek Trail project at the Town's offices located at the Lexington Municipal Complex, 111 Maiden Lane, Lexington, SC 29072 until 2:00 PM on April 10, 2012. No applications will be accepted after this time. Electronic submittals will not be accepted. Four (4) sets (original and three copies) of the application and all back-up information must be submitted.

SOFTWARE AND IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES FOR AN
ACCOUNTING AND OTHER SOFTWARE SYSTEM

The Town of Lexington (Town) is contemplating a conversion to new integrated accounting and other software system. The implementation will be completed in phases with the first phase anticipated to begin within 45 days of contract award. The software should include functionality for general ledger, budgeting, financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable to include utility billing, fixed assets, purchasing, payroll, human resources, time and attendance, bank reconciliation, GASB 34, court case management, mobile citations, work orders, GIS tie in, building projects, business licenses, online citizen services, and a report writer.

Separate sealed Bids, for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the construction of water and sewer relocation near US 378 and US 1 will be received by the Owner in the Eli Mack room, at the Town Hall located at 111 Maiden Street until 2:00 p.m. on February 29, 2012 and then at said place be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Project consists of the following major elements: Installation of approximately 2460 LF 12-inch DI, 3070 LF 8-inch DI, 1585 LF 6-inch DI, valves, fittings, hydrants, miscellaneous interconnections with existing system, relocation of services, installation of approximately 180 LF 8-inch gravity sewer, 4 manholes (2 doghouse), removal and replacement of approximately 3150 LF sidewalk, various sections of curb and gutter, remove and replace pavement, flowable fill, traffic control, sediment and erosion control, grassing, landscaping, pipeline testing, and other miscellaneous and related items.
The Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, Contract Agreement, Plans, Specifications, and forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Payment Bond and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations:

Copies of Contract Documents and plans may be obtained from the office of HPG and Company, Consulting Engineers, Inc., 1432 Sunset Boulevard, West Columbia, S.C. 29169 upon a non-refundable payment of $200.00 for each set. Mailing address must be provided to ensure prompt delivery.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of South Carolina. The Bid Bond shall be in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid.
No Bid will be considered unless the Bidder is legally qualified under the provisions of the South Carolina Contractor's Licensing Law.
The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid.
No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 60 days after the date of the Bid opening.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities.
